April was a pretty busy month. I spent the majority of it revising for my upcoming exams, writing the report that has actually been the bane of my life and we also went on a little midweek break away to celebrate one year of being engaged. Let's talk about my April favourites...

Olympus Pen E-PL8

Ok, so I actually only got this camera a couple of days ago but it's already one of my favourite items. I was originally planning to buy the E-PL9 in a couple of months when I had saved enough money but after a lot of research, I realised that the E-PL8 does everything I need it for (and more). This one was also on sale for over a hundred pounds less than it usually sells at so I just bit the bullet and bought it. I don't want to say I'm going to start doing Youtube finally, because I'm sure everything is sick of my saying that when I never actually do it because I'm so awkward BUT I would really like to start creating some Youtube videos at some point, if I can convince myself to just sit down and do it. I know that this camera is going to really help my blog content as well as come in useful for work at my digital marketing job so I'm really happy with this purchase.

EasyAcc Handheld Electric Fan

Literally one of my favourite buys ever. It's pink too. I love it. I wanted one of these last year but didn't end up buying one as I thought it would be a waste of money but I finally purchased one a couple of weeks ago and I have been using it so much! I didn't know what to expect as it was quite inexpensive at £13, but I really like the 3 settings which allow you to have different types of strength on the fan. It also folds up which fits perfectly into my handbag, and you can charge it using a USB, which is really useful (I've already told all of my family members they will be receiving them as birthday presents - they were not impressed).

Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator Moisturiser

I had my eye on this moisturiser for months as I had heard so many good things about it but at around £36, it was something that my student budget just couldn't justify. So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw it included in a Clinique set in Boots for £42, when all of the products within the set were worth over £120! I have been using this alongside the eye cream in my every day skincare routine and it is definitely helping to keep my face hydrated. As someone who suffers with really dry skin, I have tested this for over a month and it's one of those products that I would definitely repurchase when it runs out. I often find with this type of moisturiser that it leaves my face feeling far too wet and sticky but that really isn't the case with this one, especially considering a small amount of product goes such a long way.

Heathers Soundtrack

Is it really a monthly favourites if I don't include a musical? Definitely not. I haven't seen Heathers the musical yet which I am still annoyed about but that doesn't stop me listening to the soundtrack on pretty much a daily basis. Also - and I'm probably going to receive some eye rolls and confusion from this - I actually really enjoyed the Riverdale x Heathers episode, despite everyone saying how cringy it was.
