Hi guys, it's Lauryn! So, summer is finally here(or at least it should be, God damn the rain in England) and it's time to get out your bucket list and tick off some of the things that you've always wanted to do! For this post, I have teamed up with Eventbrite  the largest self-service ticketing platform in the world that helps people find and plan events to take part in their campaign of GOMO(Getting out more often). So, the purpose of this campaign is to squash people's fear of missing out and get them out of their houses doing things that they have always wanted to do rather than perhaps spending all of their money on material items. Therefore, in this post I am going to give you some fun ideas for things to do this summer! Let's get started...
  1. Festivals/gigs. Summer is festival season and in England, we have a wide range of festivals you can attend from Glastonbury, to V Fest to Reading and Leeds festival(which I'm actually going to this year!) and then the smaller ones such as MTV Crashes Plymouth and even Looe Festival to end the summer months on a high. There's music for everyone! This is a great way to spend a couple of days and make some new friends. If you're not the festival type but still like music, how about checking out some local gigs?(Stay tuned for a blog post coming up soon on why supporting local bands is important) They are always relatively cheap and a really enjoyable way to spend your evening!
  2. Go for a walk. I know right, it sounds tiring before you even leave the house? But you can't deny that you will feel better for it once you've done it. Whether it's a walk on a beach or even through the city, it could be a nice way to spend your day as you can decide where you go and how long you walk for, you could even invite some friends along! All of this for very little money if any at all...
  3. Host an event. Maybe you could plan something like a movie night or games night? A party? A football match with friends? How about using Eventbrite's ticket service to do so? This is free to use and is a great way to sell tickets for events that is easy and accessible for everyone. If you are interested in doing so, the link is here: https://www.eventbrite.com/l/sell-tickets/
Of course, these aren't the only things that you can do this summer, there's so many options. How about taking up a new hobby? or finishing that thing you never finished or perhaps never started?(Come on, we all something like that)

So, it's important to make this summer the best one yet, don't sit at home regretting not doing something, get out and do it, don't make excuses. It's easy to say that "you'll do it tomorrow" or "the weather isn't right" but before you know it, your free time will be gone and you'll be going back to your usual day-to-day routine so remember to say yes and go out and enjoy yourself!

Finally, before I end this post, I would like to say a big thanks to everyone who is supporting JustALittleBitOfLauryn, the amount of views and feedback that I am receiving at the moment is overwhelming and I appreciate it so much! I look forward to creating more new and exciting content over the next few months and remember if you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact me and as always, my contact information is below.

Also, is the weather not that great? Are you looking for something to do? Some new music to listen to on your way to work or school? I've got a solution for you. Check out my boyfriends bands first EP and even download it(for free!), I assure you that you will not be disappointed: https://thetbc.bandcamp.com/album/the-unit-8-ep
