I would do these every month but the truth is, my life is not so exciting that I'm constantly trying new things and finding new loves. However, now exams are over, maybe I'll have the time to try more things. For now, here are my May Favourites; all of the things that I have been loving in the last couple of weeks.

may favourites

1. Safe

During exam season, I accidentally got a little bit hooked on Safe, the new Netflix series. Luckily, it only had 8 episodes so it didn't take too much time out of my revision but I thoroughly enjoyed all of it and I'm really hoping that there will be a season 2.

2. In The Heights soundtrack

Lin-Manuel Miranda is one of my favourites (did I mention that we are going to see Hamilton in September?!) so you can imagine how happy I was when I started listening to In The Heights. Just wonderful.

3. Morphe 35R palette

If you read my What I Got For Christmas 2017 post, you will know that Josh bought me this palette and I was very excited as it was my first Morphe palette and it has definitely lived up to his expectations. Since exams have finished, I've been doing my make up (and putting more effort into my appearance, in general) and I am using this palette every day.

4. Paper bag style skirts

I had been meaning to try this style of skirt for ages but I was always convinced that they wouldn't suit me. I was pleasantly surprised and they have now become a staple in my wardrobe. I would like to try the paper bag style trousers but finding trousers is incredibly difficult for someone with shorter than average legs.

5. Vans leather pink slip ons

I bought these a couple of days ago and they are already a favourite. They are incredibly comfortable and despite staining them a little bit after falling down a hill (a story for another day) the day after I bought them, I still think they look so cute and they work so well with some of the outfits that I have bought recently.
