I've bought many mascaras in my time and let's just say, I haven't been best pleased with most of them. Probably not the mascaras fault, it's my lashes that never want to curl or have any volume whatsoever. However, the L'Oreal Paris Unlimited Mascara is one of my favourites, let's talk about why.

First, let's discuss the design of the product. I'm a big fan of the fact that it stands up by itself without toppling over 5 seconds, not only does it make blog photos ten times easier to take, I just think it looks a lot better. The main feature, of course, is the fact that the wand is adjustable and can bend in two different ways to suit the person applying the make up. This is perfect for someone like me who is incapable of putting mascara on without ruining the eye shadow look that took me way too long to get right. Some may say that the design is far too clunky because obviously, it is slightly bigger than the usual mascara but I like how this makes it look a little more unique.

The design may look a little complicated at first but L'Oreal have suggested that when you are applying the mascara to your top lashes, use the straight angle brush and then use the the bent angle when applying the product to the inner and outer corners of your lashes. At first, I was a bit confused by how it works but a couple of minutes is confusion is something I can handle if it makes the whole process a little easier.

The product itself promises to volumise, separate and lengthen every lash. Upon first impressions, it appears to deliver that promise fairly well with minor clumpiness and a definite volumised look. As well as this, it is definitely long wearing and leaves you with an intense black finish. I haven't noticed any smudging (aka looking like a panda halfway through the day), which is always a bonus. There's nothing worse than getting home at the end of the day, looking in the mirror and thinking "Wow, is that seriously what I looked like all day?!"

This mascara tends to retail at around £8.99, which I don't think is too bad as there are so many high end products that I've tried which do the same as this one. In fact, this one maybe does it better. Therefore, this is definitely one that I would recommend and wow, let's just say, I don't often recommend mascaras because I can never find one that lifts my lashes for more than a couple of minutes. So, this one must be good.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Paris Unlimited Mascara yet? What's your favourite mascara? Let me know!
